Founded in 2000 by Chris Kemsley, Mark Holden, Tim Marsh, and James Black, Ultimate Holdings is a fund management and property advisement firm based in London with offices in the United States, Belgrade, Serbia, Montenegro and Guernsey. To date, Ultimate Holdings’ portfolio of properties owned and/or managed is valued in excess of $260 million. In 2009, Ultimate Holdings ventured into the United States with a focus to acquire properties that provide unique buying opportunities. Initially the company raised $25 million in capital and that amount has since doubled. Ultimate Holdings intends to acquire distressed properties throughout the US, with a focus on the Florida market. The acquisition of Village at Town Center represents the first substantial recorded bulk sale by a UK investment firm since the recent downturn of the market.
James Black, Managing Partner of Ultimate Holdings is responsible for the US operations. More specifically he is responsible for selecting and managing the company’s US investments. Over the last ten years, Black has successfully raised and managed in excess of $500 million in central Europe, Canada and the UK.
